Calor Gas Discontinues Small Gas Bottles

Calor have started re-suppling 4.5Kg Butane Gas Cyliders and 3.9Kg Propane.

The following gas cylinders have been discontinued by Calor Gas.

3.9kg Propane                   4.5kg Butane                  6kg Lite Propane 

In statement, Calor said: “We realise this change will affect customers that rely on these sizes, but we know these changes are necessary to significantly improve our cylinder service.”

“Our existing range of cylinders is creating complexity within our supply chain."

“This means longer change over times and reduced filling capacity on high volume key sizes."

“That’s why we’ve taken the difficult decision to reduce our cylinder range, simplifying the business.”

    3.9kg Propane bottle can be exchanged for a 6kg Propane bottle  (No bottle charge)      

   6kg Lite Propane bottle can be exchanged for a 6kg Propane bottle  (No bottle charge)  

       4.5kg Butane bottle can be exchanged for a 7kg Butane bottle  (No bottle charge)       

   Adapters can be purchased to enable caravan/motorhome regulators to be run from      

            a Campingaz cylinder   (A bottle charge will be incurred with this option)
