Product description

Good needle retention in or out of water Strong branches Soft Needles

Nordmann Firs originate from the Caucasus mountains in Georgia, southern Russia and have seen a steady rise in popularity over recent years. They are a non needle-drop variety with a darker green coloured foliage and slightly more rounded needles. An excellent needle retaining species with soft glossy dark green needles. Nordman Fir is probably the most popular Christmas tree in this country. It has a lovely symmetrical shape with strong branches. The needles are shiny, mid green and soft to touch.

Why choose a real tree?

Reduce your carbon footprint by purchasing British grown trees, locally. It can take a single tree up to 10 years (thats approximately 1 Christmas tree lifetime) to filter the amount of CO2 produced by a 90minute car journey, so the closer the better!

Recycling your tree will reduce your carbon footprint by up to 80%. Compost a natural tree after Christmas to use as mulch in your garden. Or alternatively, have your tree picked up by the council and turned into chipping. Visit www.recyclenow.com for more information.

Every tree harvested has another planted in it's place. 1 million Christmas trees; thats 350 acres of lungs, filtering up to 22 million kg of CO2 from the atmosphere every year.
