A wonderful all round variety producing consistantly good crops with firm potatoes between waxy and floury. The bold, oval tubers have yellow skins and yellow flesh and are ideal for baking, boiling, chipping, roasting and as a creamy mash.
Wilja has strong resistance to dry rot, Fusarium Sulphureum, common scab and potato leaf roll virus.
Second earlies are normally ready for lifting between 15-22 weeks from planting.
